Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly Demand Review process within the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) cycle.
• Analyse and present market and demand data to support decision-making at senior level.
• Build a framework to capture and validate demand across business units.
• Collaborate with Business Development, Engineering, and Project Management to deliver timely and accurate bid responses.
• Forecast resource requirements and staffing levels for new product development projects.
• Maintain demand KPIs, including forecast accuracy and business exposure to risk.
• Provide 'what if' and scenario planning support to Production and Operations.
• Manage Original Equipment demand profiles in the ERP system (Navision).

Salary: £42,000-£48,000 (dependent on experience)

A global technology manufacturer is seeking a Demand Planner to join their operations team in Sunbury-on-Thames. This position will suit an analytical and commercially aware professional who enjoys working with cross‑functional teams to align demand, capacity, and strategic growth plans.

As a Demand Planner, you will be central to the company's Sales and Operations Planning process, driving validated demand forecasts, supporting bids for new technology, and helping senior leaders make data‑driven decisions that improve on‑time delivery and customer satisfaction.
