Demand Generation Manager
Salary: £42-£45k with OTE £50k
Location: SK8 7ES (Cheadle) or ST1 5PJ (Stoke-on-Trent)
Are you a growth‑focused marketeer who loves turning strategy into measurable results? Do you thrive in fast‑paced environments where data, creativity, and performance meet?
An exciting opportunity has arisen at LSC for a hands‑on Demand Generation Manager to drive awareness, engagement, and lead generation across our national B2B and B2C audiences.
The Role…
We’re looking for a results‑driven, analytical, and creative marketer to own our end‑to‑end demand generation strategy — from campaign planning and content creation to lead capture and conversion. You’ll combine marketing automation, paid media, and insight‑driven decision making to fuel both our school partnerships (B2B) and parent engagement (B2C).
Working as part of the management team, you’ll lead our marketing function with a focus on ROI, pipeline growth, and customer acquisition. This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys both strategy and execution.
What you will be doing …
Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and deliver an integrated national demand generation strategy aligned to company growth goals.
- Own key marketing performance metrics, including lead volume, cost per lead (CPL), conversion rate, and return on investment (ROI).
- Lead, coach, and develop a small marketing team — setting clear priorities, KPIs, and rhythms.
- Manage marketing budgets and allocate spend for maximum impact.
Campaign Execution
- Design and execute multi‑channel campaigns (email, paid social, paid search, organic, and partnerships) across B2B and B2C audiences.
- Create and test conversion pathways — landing pages, CTAs, and lead magnets — to optimise the customer journey.
- Build automation and nurture sequences within HubSpot to engage and convert leads effectively.
- Develop and maintain a content calendar aligned with seasonal peaks, new product launches, and national campaigns.
Data, Insights & Optimisation
- Set up robust analytics and attribution across all channels using HubSpot, Google Analytics, and paid media dashboards.
- Track and report on funnel performance, from impressions to revenue, identifying key trends and opportunities.
- Implement lead scoring, segmentation, and personalisation strategies to improve conversion rates.
- Drive a test‑and‑learn culture, using A/B testing to continuously improve campaign performance.
Content & Collaboration
- Partner with the Sales and Operations Directors to align lead generation with school acquisition and retention targets.
- Collaborate with Regional Managers and Recruitment to design campaigns that support both customer and candidate pipelines.
- Work with the Quality and Education teams to showcase LSC’s impact through case studies, testimonials, and results‑driven content.
Brand & Thought Leadership
- Position LSC as the national authority in primary PPA Cover and wrap‑around childcare through storytelling, PR, and digital content.
- Develop high‑quality thought‑leadership materials that strengthen trust with schools, parents, and partners.
- Ensure all marketing communications reflect LSC’s brand values, tone, and visual identity consistently.
