Our client is a leading homewares company, supplying UK retailers. They now have an excellent opportunity for a Demand Coordinator to join their team.

They're looking for a friendly, proactive, and organised individual to support the growing team. This is a vital role within the business, providing hands‑on support across demand planning, purchasing, and supply chain operations to keep products flowing smoothly from factory to customer.

As a Demand Coordinator, you'll be the link between the production teams, suppliers, and customers. Ensuring orders move efficiently through all stages of the supply chain.

You'll manage purchase orders, maintain accurate data, and support the team with daily admin and reporting tasks. Collaboration, attention to detail, and great communication will be key to your success.

Duties include:

  • Place and manage purchase orders, consolidating requests from the wider Demand Team.
  • Track and monitor deliveries, escalating any delays or supply issues proactively.
  • Maintain accurate records of orders, ETAs, and supplier performance.
  • Provide administrative and sales support, including managing customer bookings and maintaining data accuracy across systems.
  • Complete daily tasks to support smooth operation of the Demand Team's systems and reports.
  • Act as the first point of contact for internal and external queries, ensuring clear and timely communication.
  • Collaborate with internal production, logistics, and commercial teams to ensure seamless coordination.
  • Identify and suggest process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Support delivery of the trade website success, working with customers to ensure orders are received in full and expectations are met

What You'll Need to Succeed:

  • Experience in supply chain or purchasing coordination, ideally within a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator and natural collaborator.
  • Proactive and solution‑focused, able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in Excel and comfortable working with data and reports.
  • Experience in both B2B and B2C environments advantageous.
  • Enthusiastic team player who takes ownership and delivers results.
