Job description

As a Demand Analyst, you will manage a defined forecast area, working closely with Sales, Production, and Inbound Supply teams to ensure the right products are in the right place at the right time. You will support the site's demand planning activities, helping the team achieve the goals of 'don't run out, don't have too much, and do it cost-effectively.'.

Responsibilities
  • Own the forecast for a defined division, collaborating with Sales to build a robust demand plan.
  • Support the production of approximately 2,400 finished goods SKUs and the purchasing of around 4,500 raw material and packaging SKUs.
  • Provide accurate reporting and insights to inform production and purchasing decisions.
  • Align forecasting processes across multiple divisions within the Demand team.
  • Support Production Planners and Inbound Supply Team with PO management, production jobs, capacity reporting, and supply chain projects.
  • Assist with stock balancing between warehouses, KPI reporting and development, shipping and transport, and system/SKU management (BOMs, write-offs, NPD phase-in/out, excess stock).
  • Perform order checking and support other operational tasks as required.

Experience & Knowledge
  • Experience in forecasting / demand planning, ideally in a seasonal business.
  • Understanding of MRP / ERP systems.
  • Broader supply chain experience – production planning, buying, inbound supply.
  • Knowledge of NPD processes, artwork approvals, and packaging.
  • Stock management expertise.
  • Excellent Excel skills and commercial awareness.
