Job summary
Rexel Swansea is seeking a Warehouse Operative and Delivery Driver to join our branch and support both warehouse tasks and delivery routes. The role runs Monday to Friday, 08:30–17:30, with a focus on accurate stock handling, packaging, and customer service at the point of delivery.
You will be part of a busy team in a leading electrical wholesale company, benefiting from a bonus scheme, generous annual leave, and development opportunities from day one.
Qualifications
- DRIVING: Hold a Valid UK Drivers Licence, with no more than 3points & be a minimum of 21 years old (Insurance Purposes)
- EXPERIENCE: Have proven Multi-drop & basic Warehouse experience
- COMMUNICATION: Have great conversational skills to enhance your customer service and engagement across to your colleagues and Customers
- COLLABORATION: Building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to achieve shared objectives
- TAKES ACCOUNTABILITY: Taking action, overcoming obstacles, and meeting commitments
- ADAPTABILITY: Have the ability to switch up your day when needed, to support the business's needs
- CUSTOMER FOCUS: Building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions
Responsibilities
- Perform warehouse duties including inwards stock control, picking and packing products
- Load vans for deliveries and ensure efficient delivery routes
- Cover delivery routes when required to meet customer needs
- Interact with customers to provide excellent service and secure repeat business
