Amazon is hiring for an Amazon Delivery Station team member in Welwyn Garden City. You will receive and prepare packages for delivery, sort using scanners and handheld devices, and build, wrap, and transport pallets and packages for vans.

Shift options include Early Morning, Day, Evening and Night. Full-time or part-time schedules are available, with training provided and a focus on safety and teamwork in a busy, temperature-controlled environment.

Qualifikationen

• Be 18 years or older.
• Understand and follow instructions in English.
• Lift up to 23kg.
• Lift up to 38kg using the Tilt-Push-Slide technique.
• Lift up to 120kg using a sack truck.
• View prompts on screens and follow direction for some tasks.
• Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
• Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around.
• Go up and down stairs (where applicable).
• Work in an environment with varying temperatures and moving vehicles.
• You may be required to handle a full range of Amazon products, including alcohol, pork, beef and other animal products.

You’llbe part of the dedicated Amazon team at the delivery station – the last stop before we deliver smiles to customers. Our fast-paced, active roles receive trucks full of orders, then prepare them for delivery.You’llload conveyor belts, and transport and stage deliveries to be picked up by drivers.
