Overview

To support continued growth and uphold our reputation for trusted delivery within the Defence Nuclear Enterprise (DNE) - one of our largest market groups comprising our support to the Submarine Delivery Agency, In‑Service Submarine Project Team, the wider Defence Nuclear supply chain and Strategic Weapon System (excluding BAE and RRSL Key Accounts) - we are seeking a Delivery Portfolio Lead to join the Defence Nuclear Enterprise portfolio. The Delivery Portfolio Lead holds operational responsibility and leads the delivery governance function for all projects within an agreed DNE sub‑portfolio. Their responsibilities will include:

Responsibilities
  • Liaison with the S&BD Dimension and Consultation at key points of the work winning process such as Bid/No Bid and Proposal Submission.
  • Oversight of, and Accountability for the Contract Acceptance process of projects within their portfolio.
  • Project Supervision, governance and guidance in support of project delivery across their portfolio including client relationship management.
  • Forecasting, reporting and management of portfolio KPIs including Revenue, Net Revenue, Gross Margin and DSO.
  • Liaison with the Capability Dimension and in particular, provision of a clear market demand signal to support short‑ and long‑term resourcing decisions.

Frazer‑Nash has been working to support the Royal Navy submarine service and the wider submarine supply chain (commonly referred to as the 'Defence Nuclear Enterprise') for over 20 years. The scope of the portfolio provides engineering and technical services right across the enterprise and 'CADMID' Cycle (from Concept design, through In‑Service support and into Disposal). The DNE portfolio therefore calls upon a broad set of technical skills from across our Capability Dimension. There are currently over 300 active projects supporting delivery into the portfolio. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping our delivery to our clients and contributing to the advancement of notable projects across the UK’s Defence Nuclear Enterprise.
