Overview

We're looking for an experienced Delivery Manager to lead and coordinate multiple technology change projects across a complex organisation.

This is a senior role within the Change and Transformation function, responsible for ensuring all projects and programmes deliver measurable business benefit on time, within budget, and to high standards of quality and governance.

You’ll report to the Head of Change and work closely with technology, business, and change teams to drive delivery forward. The role will also involve line management and mentoring responsibilities for Scrum Masters and/or Business Analysts.

We are looking for someone who has experience in managing a Dynamics 365 programme (or an equivalent cloud‐based CRM and ERP).

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain robust delivery plans, roadmaps, and governance documentation.
  • Manage delivery risks, issues, dependencies, and scope across complex programmes.
  • Partner with business and technical stakeholders to align delivery with business readiness and benefit realisation.
  • Manage the external D365 implementation partner, ensuring deliverables are clear, achievable, and tracked.
  • Oversee supplier governance, contract milestones, and change requests.
  • Ensure all technical partners follow agreed standards and documentation practices.
  • Oversee supplier and third‑party performance within technology delivery streams.
  • Facilitate steering and governance forums, reporting clearly on progress, outcomes, and escalations.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of delivery frameworks and methodologies.

Experience & Expertise

  • An experienced Delivery Manager with a strong track record of delivering technology‑enabled change, ideally across digital transformation, infrastructure modernisation, or system integration projects.
  • Utilities sector experience in Water, Energy or Low Carbon is extremely beneficial.
  • Strong background in agile and hybrid delivery methods.
  • Demonstrable success in managing C‑suite and senior stakeholder relationships.
  • Experience managing project budgets, risks, and dependencies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development in technology delivery and change leadership.

Why This Role

This is an opportunity to shape and lead meaningful technology change that proves how people work, connect, and deliver value. You’ll join an organisation committed to structured delivery, continuous improvement, and collaboration across both business and IT functions.

Remuneration

  • 25 personal holiday days per year with an additional allocation of 8 public holidays (includes options to buy and sell)
  • After 5 years of service, you will be rewarded with an additional 5 days of annual leave, taking it to 30 personal days and 8 public holidays.
  • Private medical healthcare is currently provided by BUPA.
  • Life Insurance cover where your next of kin will receive 4 times your basic annual salary.
  • Automatic enrolment into the Company Stakeholder Pension Scheme following 3 months of employment. Currently, this is matched by the company to 5%.
  • Eligibility to join the Share Incentive Plan following 6 months of employment, which allows you to become a shareholder in a tax‑efficient way and benefit from the success of the company.
  • Eligible for salary sacrifice EV/Electric car scheme after probation period.
  • Employee Assistance Programme with easy access via the My Healthy Advantage app.
  • Exclusive employee access to SmartHealth app – includes a free 24/7 online GP and a range of other health and wellbeing services.
  • Corporate season ticket travel loan.
  • Length of service cash incentives.
  • Medicash – which can be used to claim back cash towards everyday healthcare costs, including eye tests, as well as access to high street discounts.
