Job description

We are looking for a Service Delivery Manager to lead a team and oversee the smooth day‑to‑day running of community based and prison staff, ensuring timetabling of activities and compliance with prison processes for an employability programme designed for ex‑offenders. The role requires maximizing achievement of outcomes and delivering the performance expectations of commissioners.

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum

Location: The role is largely field based and you will be visiting hubs and prisons as required across Kent, Surrey and Sussex

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of community and prison staff.
  • Oversee the smooth day‑to‑day running of community‑based and prison staff, ensuring timetabling of activities and compliance with prison processes.
  • Maximise achievement of outcomes and deliver performance expectations of commissioners.
The ideal candidate would have:
  • Ability to effectively lead and manage staff within a community environment.
  • Ability to confidently present to partner organisations and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to produce written reports to a good standard.
  • Track record of achieving tangible performance results.
  • Good understanding of the Justice Sector and HMPPS.
  • Good labour market knowledge.
  • Access to a vehicle with ability to travel to Kent, Surrey and Sussex.
  • DBS check/ability to pass prison vetting.
