Job summary

Currys in Bolton is seeking a 7.5t Delivery & Install Driver for a permanent, full-time role. You will deliver and install appliances and tech, working with a two-person team to ensure safe, professional installations and on-time deliveries.

You’ll complete around 25 deliveries daily, with 8–10 installations at customers’ homes. Training provided; benefits include pension, product discounts, and a five-over-eight shift pattern.

Qualifications

• A full Class C1 UK/EA licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• CPC card (and ideally Tachograph card).
• A passion for delivering great customer service.
• To be comfortable working in a practical, physical role.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the right products to the right customers, on time.
• Install a range of household appliances and tech safely and professionally.
• Work as part of a 2-person team to move and position large items.
• Use equipment such as tail lifts, sack barrows and lifting aids to work safely.
• Drive a multi-drop route and keep everything running smoothly.
• Create a positive, friendly experience every time you step into a customer’s home.
