Driverz Work in Greater London is seeking a reliable Electric Van Driver to join our self-employed delivery team. You will deliver packages safely using electric vans and provide excellent customer service.

The role requires a minimum of 1 year delivery driving experience, a valid licence with no more than 6 points, and the ability to lift heavy loads with care.

Pay is £150–£200 per day for in-person deliveries across London, with independent work and a focus on punctuality and professionalism.

Job Overview

Duties

• Safely operate electric delivery vans to transport goods to various locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Maximise productivity and meet delivery fulfilment & schedule.
• Load and unload packages with care and precision, following manual handling training as this role can involve heavy lifting.
• Communicate clearly with dispatch management and customers to confirm delivery details and resolve any issues promptly.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance needs or safety concerns.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and inventory records
• Follow company policies on safety procedures, vehicle operation, and customer interactions

Experience

• Previous experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving roles preferred
• Familiarity with van driving and navigation in urban or suburban environments
• Warehouse experience or familiarity with logistics operations is a plus
• Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and efficiently during deliveries
• Strong communication skills for interacting professionally with customers and team members
• At least 1 Years Valid driver’s license with no more than 6 points ; commercial driving experience is advantageous
• Knowledge of traffic laws, safety standards, and vehicle maintenance practices
