Job summary

Blue Arrow are seeking Collection & Delivery Drivers to join a successful team in Glasgow. As a Collection & Delivery Driver, you will sort and deliver parcels, acting as the friendly face in the community.

You’ll work across varied shifts with a pay rate of £16.80 per hour, on a temporary ongoing contract. You’ll need a UK driving licence, the ability to lift up to 30kg, and a proactive, customer‑focused approach to ensure parcels reach their destination safely and on time.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence (Cat B) up to 3.5t and clean record or up to 6 penalty points.
• Licence held for minimum of 6 months.
• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg.
• Dependable, self-driven attitude with a can-do approach.
• Comfort working solo and outdoors in all weather.
• Team spirit and willingness to help others.
• Basic DBS check (paid by Blue Arrow).

Responsibilities

• Begin at the depot, sorting parcels.
• Carrying out essential vehicle safety checks.
• Collecting and delivering parcels to homes and businesses.
• Use a handheld device to track deliveries and stay on schedule.
• Provide top-notch service come rain or shine, with a smile.
