BPX Group in Sunderland is recruiting a Delivery Driver/Warehouse Operative for a full-time, permanent role. You will be responsible for local-drop deliveries using our company van and assist with warehouse tasks as needed.

We currently have a great opportunity for a Delivery Driver/Warehouse Operative to join our team at our BPX Sunderland (SR5 2BX). We are looking for a bright, enthusiastic person to join our friendly team. This is a full-time, permanent role where continuous training and development will be provided.

Job Purpose

As our delivery driver/warehouse operative you will be responsible for local-drop deliveries to our customers. In addition, you may be required to support the warehouse team in assisting with incoming deliveries and outgoing order picking.

The main duties will include:

• Delivering local-drop orders to our customers using our company van
• Ensuring the van is kept roadworthy by reporting any accidents or repairs
• Any other duties requested by the Manager
• Delivering excellent customer service, following BPX standards
• Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results
• Picking, processing and preparing orders, ready for delivery
• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

To join our team we are looking for a person who:

• Has experience of working in a warehouse and local-drop deliveries
• Has an outgoing, positive and professional attitude
• Has good day to day planning capabilities, this will be essential for the candidate to be successful in this role
• Is able to meet deadlines and follow through on commitments
• Is conscientious with good attention to detail
• Trustworthy and reliable at all times
• Full UK driving licence
