Job summary

GAP Ltd. is recruiting a Delivery Driver/Warehouse Assistant for our Norwich North trade counter. You will drive, deliver and assist in warehousing, providing excellent service to customers and maintaining stock accuracy.

The role requires a full UK driving licence, good road knowledge, and the ability to handle goods safely. Flexible, reliable and able to work Saturdays on a 1 in 2 rotation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a delivery driver, warehouse, logistics, distribution or goods‑in role is desirable.
• Full UK driving licence with a safe and responsible driving record.
• Good knowledge of UK roads and ability to follow routes and schedules.
• Experience handling, loading and unloading goods safely.
• Good organisation and attention to detail.
• Ability to complete delivery notes and stock records accurately.
• Physically fit and able to lift/move goods per manual handling guidance.
• Reliable, punctual and flexible in a busy environment.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
• Most important: a can‑do attitude and desire to deliver excellent service!

Responsibilities

• Load, secure and deliver products safely to customers, sites and locations.
• Complete delivery and collection duties per planned routes.
• Carry out vehicle checks and report defects promptly.
• Drive company vehicles in line with UK laws and procedures.
• Assist with loading and unloading goods using proper handling techniques.
• Check delivery paperwork, goods and quantities before dispatch/receipt.
• Obtain delivery signatures and complete relevant paperwork.
• Provide a professional service to customers during deliveries and collections.
• Receive, check, label and store incoming stock in the warehouse.
• Pick and prepare orders for delivery or collection.
• Maintain stock records and report shortages or discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Keep warehouse, loading areas and vehicles clean and organized.
• Assist with general warehouse duties and other tasks.
• Follow health and safety policies and company procedures.

As a Delivery Driver/Warehouse Assistant, you will support the efficient movement, storage and delivery of products to customers and sites. Key responsibilities - delivery driver and warehouse assistant

• Load, secure and deliver products safely and efficiently to customers, sites and other locations.
• Complete delivery and collection duties in line with planned routes and schedules.
• Carry out vehicle checks before and after deliveries, reporting any defects or maintenance issues promptly.
• Drive company vehicles responsibly and in accordance with UK road traffic laws and company procedures.

• Obtain delivery signatures and complete all relevant paperwork accurately.
