Workchain is seeking a reliable Car/Van Driver for daytime food delivery operations around Easton-in-Gordano. This temporary role suits an organized, customer-focused driver comfortable with physical work.

Responsibilities include multi-drop deliveries (>10 drops), loading/unloading, and maintaining delivery records. Must have a valid licence, be punctual, and able to work independently with good route planning.

Qualifications

• A valid driving licence suitable for the vehicle being driven.
• Previous driving or delivery experience is useful.
• Experience of multi-drop work, particularly more than 10 drops, is preferred.
• Physically able to handball goods safely.
• Good time management and route-planning skills.
• Reliable, punctual and presentable.
• Able to work independently and follow instructions.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Driving a car or van safely and responsibly.
• Completing multi-drop deliveries, handling more than 10 drops per shift.
• Loading, unloading and handballing goods safely.
• Checking delivery items and following route instructions.
• Providing a professional service at each delivery point.
• Completing basic delivery records and reporting any issues promptly.
• Following road safety, manual handling and workplace procedures.
