Job summary

Angard Staffing Solutions Ltd is recruiting for Royal Mail to hire flexible temporary postal delivery drivers across the UK. You will deliver letters and parcels in your local area, combining van driving with on-foot delivery as part of your round.

Applicants must hold a full UK driving licence (no more than 6 points) and be physically fit to walk long distances, with a driving assessment required at start. Shifts vary with several start times and duties.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, carry a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; must be a team player and adaptable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your delivery area, driving a Royal Mail van and delivering on foot where required.
• Securely deliver all items and handle election materials as per Royal Mail standards.
• Pass a driving assessment at start and work flexibly according to shifts.
