Overview

Join Ocado Logistics where there are bags of possibilities. Our mission is to provide an outstanding customer experience. Our Customer Service Team Members play a vital role, delivering top quality products on time and in an efficient manner.

You’ll be out on the road whatever the weather, but you’ll never have to fight over the radio station, and you can sing along as loud as you like. In return, we use our automated technology to pre plan your route and pre-load your van.

Working patterns will involve evenings and weekends in addition to weekdays, so on top of your base pay you will receive premiums that will increase your average hourly earnings to £13.70 per hour. You can also stack your earnings further with enhanced overtime. All your breaks are paid, meaning for every minute at work you get paid. Responsibilities

You don’t need any previous experience to join our good-natured team; simply bring yourself and a positive attitude, and our training team will do the rest.

You will drive as part of a delivery team, delivering quality goods on time and in an efficient manner, and providing good customer service on a day-to-day basis.

Qualifications

Driving Licence Requirements

• Full UK or EU driving licence.
• Minimum of 6 months driving experience (12 months desirable).
• Maximum of 6 penalty points.
• No driving disqualifications in the past 5 years.

Some deliveries involve handling alcohol products, so you must be over 18 to apply. As this is a customer-facing role, good communication skills are essential.

Contract Type: Permanent

Contract Hours: 40 hours (including paid breaks)

Contracted days: You will be required to work any 5 days out of 7, with 8 hour shifts. Further information will be provided during pre-boarding.

Shifts: AM & PM. Start as early as 05:30 and may finish as late as 12:00 (midnight). You will receive your shift rota up to 13 weeks in advance.

Pay Structure: The position operates on a lunar paid schedule (paid every 4 weeks).

Hourly Pay Rate

• Monday to Saturday (Basic Rate): £13.25
• Evening Premium (from 6pm): £1.12
• Sunday Day Premium: £1.33
• Sunday Evening Premium: £2.56
• Overtime rate Monday to Saturday (Day Shift): £16.56
• Overtime rate Monday to Saturday (Evening Shift): £17.96
