Job summary

Plumb Centre in Stockport is hiring a Delivery Driver 7.5T to join our team. You will deliver boilers, radiators and other products to customer sites and building sites within about 30 miles of Manchester, completing 5–10 drops per day.

The role is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 07:00–16:00, with no weekend work. You will need a full clean C1 licence, CPC card and a digital tachograph, and be comfortable heavy lifting.

Qualifications

• Full clean C1 driving licence is required.
• CPC card and digital tachograph knowledge.
• Experience with multi-drop deliveries and heavy lifting is essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver boilers, radiators and related items to customer sites and building sites.
• Complete 5–10 drops per day within ~30 miles of the Manchester area.
• Load/unload items safely and assist with heavy lifting when required.
• Build relationships with customers and provide high-quality service.

Based in Stockport ( SK4 2JZ) you'll be responsible for:

• Delivering various items such as boilers and radiators to our customers sites and building sites.
• You will complete anything from 5 -10 drops a day in the within about a 30 mile radius of the Manchester area.
• Manual handling and heavy lifting of items loading and unloading them from vehicles.
• Building relationships with our customers when delivering to sites and providing exceptional customer service.

This is a full-time, permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday between 07:00am - 16:00pm with no weekend work required.

And here's what we'd like you to have:

• A full clean C1 driving licence
• CPC card.
• Digital tachograph.
• To be comfortable lifting items to and from vehicles
• Previous experience of multi-drop driving
