Job summary

Wolseley UK Limited is seeking a Delivery Driver (LGV C1) for Newcastle to join our Pipe & Climate Centre. The role is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 07:00–16:00, delivering pipe and climate products to customers with safety and service at the forefront.

You will carry out up to 15 daily deliveries, perform vehicle checks, and ensure load integrity while maintaining high standards of customer service in a fast-paced trade environment.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence and LGV Licence (Category C1) required.
• Driver Qualification Card (CPC) required.
• Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Experience driving a 7.5T Lorry preferred.
• Proven track record of good customer service.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 7.5T lorry delivering pipe and climate products to customers, with manual handling of stock.
• Make up to 15 deliveries per day.
• Perform daily vehicle and load safety checks and report defects.
• Provide excellent customer service at all times.

As a Delivery Driver (C1) based in the Newcastle, you’ll be responsible for:

• Driving a 7.5T lorry delivering pipe and climate products to our customers (This will involve manual handling heavy stock items)
• Carrying out up to 15 deliveries a day
• Ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety are adhered to, carrying out a daily check on the vehicle, equipment and load for which you have responsibility and reporting any defects
• Providing excellent customer service at all times

This role is a full time, permanent position working 40 hours a week Monday to Friday between 07.00am - 4.00pm.
