Job summary

Bennetts Car Parts in the United Kingdom is seeking a Delivery Driver to ensure safe, timely delivery of parts to garages, dealers and customers. You will also assist in the warehouse when not on the road.

The role prioritises excellent customer service, route discipline, and clear paperwork. Monday to Friday 8am–5.30pm with alternate Saturdays 8.30am–1pm, supporting our branch network across the UK.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence.
• Previous delivery or driving experience.
• Good geographical knowledge of the local area.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Physically fit and able to lift and carry parts.
• Punctual and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver car parts and accessories to customers in a timely and safe manner.
• Load and unload parts, ensuring no damage is caused.
• Check deliveries against orders and obtain signatures as proof of delivery.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally.
• Assist in the warehouse when not driving (picking, packing, stock checks).
• Follow route schedules and adapt to traffic or delays.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report faults or maintenance issues.
• Ensure the delivery vehicle is clean, roadworthy and compliant with legal requirements.

About The Role

As a Delivery Driver at Bennetts Car Parts, you will be responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate delivery of car parts and accessories to our customers, including garages, dealerships, and retail clients. You will play a key role in maintaining our reputation for excellent customer service. This position also involves basic warehouse duties, such as picking and packing orders, when not on delivery runs.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8am – 5.30pm and alternate Saturdays’ 8.30am – 1pm
