A leading security and cash transportation company in Southampton is seeking a Delivery Driver to join their essential team. Pay Rate: £14.87 per hour rising to £15.47 after 12 months (plus night allowance if applicable). Hours per week: 39 hours. Shift Pattern: Monday – Sunday, 06:00 – 18:00. You will work any 4 or 5 days out of 7.
You will join a team of specialist Delivery Drivers and be responsible for making scheduled deliveries and collections within specified time windows, ensuring all work is completed in a timely manner and in accordance with your trip sheet.
It's important that you maintain good, safe and courteous driving behaviour, present a professional appearance by always wearing the company uniform and the relevant safety equipment provided. Our Delivery Driver must always be polite and courteous to customers and members of the public at all times and wear the PPE provided.
To succeed as a G4S Delivery Driver you will need to hold a valid UK driver's licence and be confident when communicating with customers and colleagues in both written and spoken English.
An appropriate level of numeracy is also very important, and you will be adept following specific procedures and instructions and be able to work to tight deadlines.
