Job summary

Churchill's in Sawston is seeking Delivery Drivers. You will deliver orders to customers, review orders for accuracy, and uphold the brand with high service and cleanliness standards. A full clean driving licence (1+ year) is required; the company provides the vehicle and insurance for delivery.

The role pays £10.30–£12.50 per hour with flexible working options and 28 days holiday (bank holidays included). Churchill's offers career progression and online training within a family-run business

Delivery Driver, Location; FishnChickn/Churchill's,/ Bankers

£10.30 - £12.50 an hour

Delivery Drivers are mainly responsible for the timely delivery of orders to predetermined customers, reviewing orders prior to delivery, maintaining standards of food quality. Delivery Drivers are the main face for the company therefore must always maintain a high level of quality, service and cleanliness, taking care to ensure total customer satisfaction. We provide the vehicle & insurance for the sole purpose of delivering to our customers.

Main Responsibilities:

• The successful candidate needs to have held a full current clean driving license for a minimum of 1 year
• To uphold a positive brand image and provide excellent customer service at all times
• Deliver orders to customers in a timely fashion
• Delivering products safely and securely, avoiding unnecessary risks by adhering to road safety laws at all times
• Delivery Drivers are responsible at all times for the Team they are working with by ensuring each other’s safety by following the company’s health and safety procedures as laid out in their staff induction
• Supporting good food hygiene practices

At Churchill’s, our journey began way back in the early 1920s when Great Grandpa Harold, and wife Dorothy painstakingly saved all the money he earned from mining and playing amateur cricket for Accrington and moved from the north to Essex to buy their first ever fish and chip shop in in Romford, in 1923.
