Job summary

GSF Car Parts is seeking a Delivery Driver to serve customers and uphold our brand through exceptional service. You will deliver parts within a 40 mile radius, participate in vehicle checks and assist with warehouse tasks as needed.

We expect a full UK driving licence with up to 6 points and at least 3 years of driving experience, plus a commitment to meeting deadlines and delivering excellent customer experiences. 41 hours per week, Monday to Friday with alternating Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full UK Driving Licence with a maximum of 6 points.
• Minimum of 3 years driving experience.
• Excellent knowledge of the 40 mile radius of the branch.
• Previous experience in a delivery driver role is preferred.
• Ability to maintain high standards of customer service and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Delivering products to customers within a 40 mile radius.
• Maintain high levels of customer service at all times.
• Provide feedback to branch on customer and activity trends.
• Load the vehicle according to procedures and carry out daily checks.
• Assist with warehouse duties and inter-branch deliveries as required.

About The Role

Delivery Driver's play a crucial part of the team within GSF Car Parts. They are the face of our brand by delivering parts to customers and continuously providing excellent customer service. Our Delivery Drivers are important to us, giving customer feedback insights and ensuring we stay committed to delivering goods within the promised time.

As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for contributing to overall success of a high performing organisation and promoting the Company brand through positive interaction with customers.

Main Duties Include

• Delivering product to customer’s premises within a 40 mile radius
• Ensure high levels of customer service at all times
• Feedback to branch on relevant customer and competitor activity
• Load your vehicle according to procedures
• Collect customer returns as required
• Vehicle maintenance including carrying out daily checks
• Help in the warehouse as and when required
• Assist with Inter-Branch Transfer Deliveries as and when required

Working Hours

41 (average) hours Monday to Friday, including alternate Saturday working

About You

What you\'ll need to succeed:

• Must hold a full UK Driving Licence with a maximum of 6 points
• Must have a minimum of 3 years driving experience
• Excellent knowledge of 40 mile radius of branch
• Previous experience within a delivery driver role
• Ability to understand necessity of excellent standards of customer service
• Work to deadlines with good time keeping skills
• Customer focused, driven to achieve and willing to go the extra mile
