Job summary

InPost is seeking Self-employed Delivery Drivers to join its expanding UK network. Earn up to £18 per hour by delivering parcels across designated areas, with six-day-a-week work and potential Sundays during peak periods.

You will operate as a self-employed driver, using the InPost app to manage routes, track deliveries, and liaise with customers. No prior experience is required as full training is provided, and you can plan your own route with flexible working patterns.

We are looking for drivers who can deliver parcels in the following areas with work available up to 7 days a week! Routes range from 50 to 150 parcels per day depending on your availability.

Opportunities to deliver across the following areas: TQ2, TQ12, TQ14

Average earnings up to £18 per hour (based on average parcels delivered/collected per day).

We’re looking for Self‑Employed Core Delivery Drivers to join our growing team. You’ll play a key role in getting parcels to our customers, providing a reliable and committed service Monday to Saturday and some Sundays during peak. Competitive rates for each parcel you deliver or collect. Typically, our Car Delivery Drivers can earn up to £18 p/h (paid per parcel).

Daily & Weekly Payment Options: InPost offers flexible payment options to all Self‑Employed delivery drivers. Suppliers can access earnings the next day via an app or join the weekly payment cycle, which kicks in after two weeks of completed delivery services. Both options allow you to receive more regular payments for the services you provide.

Plenty of parcels to deliver and collect from stores. The majority of our parcels are small, weighing up to a maximum of 15kg. You can realistically deliver and collect between 16‑25 parcels an hour depending on the area and your experience, for six days a week. The more you deliver, the more you earn, with the opportunity to take more parcels and boost your revenue.

Freedom and flexibility: you can plan your own route or use our award‑winning app with simple instructions and built‑in optimisation to prepare and plan routes more easily, and to liaise directly with customers.

Regular work in the same area, six days a week. We deliver parcels for some of the biggest retailers, so there’s no shortage of parcels to deliver. You’ll be able to stay local and get to know the roads and customers.

Development and support: you’ll get all the independence of being self‑employed, plus the backing of an expert team and access to an InPost representative to answer your questions.

The Life of a Delivery Driver

Each day is what you make it. You can plan your own route, which will keep things fresh and interesting. At each delivery or doorstep, use your mobile to scan parcels and confirm they’re safely received by the customer, ensuring there’s no difficult technology. We will arrange a suitable time for you to collect your parcels daily, or for those located within a more rural area, we can drop them to you.

All our Self‑Employed Delivery Drivers have access to partner discounts and a health and wellbeing programme offering support from managing relationships to finance. You’ll also have the opportunity to develop and grow your business.

What you’ll need to show us?

No experience, no problem! We give full training and support to help you get on your way.

All you need to show us is the following to get started:

• Access to a car – the bigger the better. We will also accept small vans with this proposition.
• Delivery drivers will be opted into top‑up insurance unless you have your own.
• A full UK or EC/EEA driving licence.
• Proof of right to work in the UK.
• Android smartphone.
• Proof of own bank account.
• And finally, have a great attitude.
