Job summary

Yard Sale Pizza is recruiting a Moped Delivery Driver in London to deliver hot and fresh pizzas across multiple sites. You will be trained by an experienced team and can progress to senior roles or pizza chef positions.

We provide fully insured 110cc mopeds and weatherproof equipment, a permanent contract with up to 5 shifts per week, and overtime pay. Expect biweekly pay and monthly tips, plus a welcome package of uniform and other perks.

Qualifications

• CBT licence or motorcycle licence (Cat A) required.
• UK driving licence essential.
• Excellent navigation and customer service skills expected.
• Good time management and local area knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pizzas to customers on time across London sites.
• Must use supplied mopeds and equipment.
• Provide friendly service with accuracy and efficiency.
• Assist with maintaining vehicle and equipment hygiene.

Yard Sale Pizza is on the search for a Moped Delivery Driver to join our amazing team.

Who are we?

Yard Sale Pizza fired up the oven in 2014, starting with weekly supper clubs from our backyard in Hackney. We now offer delivery, dine-in and takeaway in 17 of our favourite neighbourhoods. Known for our collaborations, we’ve teamed up with illustrators, musicians, international chefs & local eateries- all on the quest for the perfect pie! We’ve won London’s most-loved restaurant in Time Out’s 2016 Love London awards, were awarded Best Cheap Eats in the Observer Food Monthly Awards in 2017, and were voted London’s favourite pizza in Time Out’s inaugural Clash of the Slices in 2022. We’re a young and fast-growing company who offer plenty of career progression for hard working and talented individuals.

Finsbury Park was the second string to our bow, opening in June 2016, serving our delicious pizzas to all the hungry North Londoners in N4, N5, N16 & N7, for dine-in, takeaway and delivery.

We're hiring for safe and respectful drivers to deliver our delicious pizzas hot'n'fresh across multiple sites in London! You must have excellent navigation and customer service skills. We can offer a fun working environment with a fantastic team and provide everything including mopeds, insurance and equipment.

You’ll get hands-on training from an experienced team and brilliant opportunities to work your way up in the business if you seek progression and want to learn new skills such as management or pizza chef skills.

What’s on offer:

• Paying £12.71 per hour
• Winter bonus of £1.27 per hour starting 5th of October. Terms and conditions apply

• Opportunities to progress to Senior Driver Position
• Payment every 2 weeks

Essential requirements:

• Available to work Friday and Saturday evenings (shifts finish up to 11.30pm)
• 18 years and over
• CBT Licence, or category A (motorcycle) licence & UK drivers licence
• Working smart phone with data & good knowledge of local areas
• Excellent navigation, customer service skills
• Great time management
