Job summary

A national recruitment agency is seeking a 3.5T MULTI-DROP DRIVER in Belfast for a temporary position. Responsibilities include delivering paint and decorating supplies to customers on planned routes during weekdays from 09:00 to 14:00. Candidates must be over 21, possess a valid UK Driving licence, and have at least 2 years of driving experience. PPE is required, and good customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving licence with no more than 9 points.
• Must have at least 2 years of driving experience.
• Have appropriate PPE (Safety Boots/High Viz Jacket).

Responsibilities

• Delivering paint and decorating supplies to customers via planned routes.
• Working between Monday and Friday, 09:00 - 14:00.
• Assist with general warehouse duties when not driving.

Location: Unit 8, The Meadows Retail Park, Boucher Place, Belfast, County Antrim, BT12 6HT
Pay rate: £12.66 per hour
Shift times: 09:00 - 14:00

Manpower is pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our National Client based in Belfast for a 3.5T Driver to join their team on a temporary basis with an immediate start!

ROLE AND EXPERIENCE

• Working between Monday and Friday (09:00 - 14:00)
• Delivering paint and decorating supplies to decorators and trade customers via a planned route within a given area.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be aged over 21 years old
• Full UK Driving licence with no more than 9 points.
• Must have at least 2 years of driving experience.
• Have appropriate PPE (Safety Boots/High Viz Jacket).
• Flexible to support with additional duties e.g., carry out general warehouse/store duties during periods when not occupied in driving duties
• Good knowledge of the local area.
• Multidrop experience is desirable as there could be anything between 5 and 50 drops a day (depending on demand and the areas).
• Good customer service skills (engaging directly with customers)
