Job summary

Yard Sale Pizza is seeking Delivery Cyclists in London to join a lively team. You’ll deliver pizzas by bike, use our e-bikes with weatherproof gear, and take part in training programs that can lead to management or kitchen roles.

Competitive pay starts at £12.71 per hour with a winter bonus of £1.27 per hour and overtime pay. You’ll need a smartphone with data and good knowledge of local areas; Fridays and Saturdays evenings are typical shifts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pizzas to customers on time and in good condition.
• Operate e-bikes safely and follow company policies.
• Attend training programs; CBT paid to drive mopeds where applicable.
• Assist team with tips and promotions and uphold brand standards.

• Yard Sale Pizza is on the search for a Delivery Cyclist to join our amazing team. Who are we? Yard Sale Pizza fired up the oven in 2014, starting with weekly supper clubs from our backyard in Hackney. We now offer delivery, dine-in and takeaway in 17 of our favourite neighbourhoods. Known for our collaborations, we've teamed up with illustrators, musicians, international chefs & local eateries - all on the quest for the perfect pie! We've won London's most-loved restaurant in Time Out's 2016 Love London awards, were awarded Best Cheap Eats in the Observer Food Monthly Awards in 2017, and were voted London's favourite pizza in Time Out's inaugural Clash of the Slices in 2022. We're a young and fast-growing company who offer plenty of career progression for hard working and talented individuals. Finsbury Park was the second string to our bow, opening in June 2016, serving our delicious pizzas to all the hungry North Londoners in N4, N5, N16 & N7, for dine-in, takeaway and delivery. We have e-bikes with top speeds of 25km/h with some shops equipped with only e-bikes to ensure an efficient delivery service! We're also offering a fantastic opportunity for cyclists to become a moped driver! You can complete a CBT course with 50% paid by the company (terms and conditions apply). Thorough training will also be provided. What's on offer: Paying £12.71 per hour

• Permanent contract - up to 5 shifts per week depending on the needs of the business.

• Available to work Friday and Saturday evenings (shifts finish up to 11.30pm)
• Must have cycling experience / love for cycling
• Working smart phone with data & good knowledge of local areas
• Delivery experience not essential but you must have excellent customer service skills
