Job summary

AWS Professional Services in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Application Developer to join our team. You will architect, develop, and re-engineer applications that leverage the AWS Cloud, delivering cloud-native solutions for business-critical projects and diverse client environments.

Qualifications

• Experience as technical specialist in design and architecture.
• Bachelor's degree, or experience in a professional field or military.
• Experience in database (eg. SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Kinesis).
• Experience in consulting, design and implementation of serverless distributed solutions.
• Experience in software development with object oriented language.
• Experience in cloud based solution (AWS or equivalent), system, network and operating system.
• Experience in external or internal customer facing, complex and large scale project management.
• AWS Associate level certification.

As an Application Developer, you'll design and implement cloud-native solutions that embrace AWS best practices for elasticity, horizontal scalability, automation, and high availability. You'll work with various AWS services including Amazon EC2, Auto Scaling, Elastic Load Balancing, AWS Elastic Beanstalk, Serverless Architectures, and Amazon Elastic Container Services to create robust, scalable applications.

You'll join AWS Professional Services, a global team of experts who help customers achieve their desired business outcomes using AWS Cloud. We work alongside customer teams and AWS Partners to execute enterprise cloud computing initiatives through focused guidance and hands-on implementation.
