A new hospitality venture in the City of London is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead their team at an intimate wine, cheese, and charcuterie bar. The successful candidate will have previous management experience in a premium bar or restaurant, alongside a passion for wine and hospitality. About RIND

RIND is Battersea’s new wine, cheese, and charcuterie bar – opened September 2025. We’re an intimate, design‑led space with a front‑of‑house deli fridge, beautiful wine list, and a menu featuring cheese flights and charcuterie platters. We’re looking for a driven, hands‑on General Manager to lead our opening team, help shape the guest experience, and build a loyal community around our unique concept.

Key Responsibilities

What you’ll do: Lead the day‑to‑day running of the bar, deli, and front‑of‑house team. Deliver outstanding guest experiences with warmth, charm, and confidence. Manage stock, supplier relationships, and rota planning. Drive sales and profitability while keeping service standards sky‑high. Be an ambassador for RIND – on the floor, behind the bar, and online.

Qualifications & Experience

What we’re looking for: Previous management experience in a premium bar/restaurant environment. A love of wine, cheese, and hospitality (WSET or foodie background a plus). Strong leadership and people skills – you’ll inspire and motivate the team. Commercial awareness and confidence with numbers (rota, GP, P&L basics). Someone who thrives in a start‑up environment and wants to grow with us.
