Job description

Program Overview

• Combines spending time at university, where you will acquire an Honours Degree, with time working on real projects
• You will enhance the skills necessary to develop a long career in the industry
• Through this combination of academic study and real work experience, you will become a software engineer capable of writing requirements, designs, software code and tests
• The work placement element of the course involves a wide range of activities – developing and testing aircraft displays, producing ground‑based equipment, or the latest training simulators

Qualifications

BSc (Hons) in High Integrity Software Engineering

Prerequisites:

• 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade 9-4/A‑C which must include Maths & English & a Science/Technical Subject AND 1 of the following:
• 3 A-levels (or equivalent) at grade C or above. 1 subject must be Maths and 1 subject must be in Engineering or a Science/Technical subject OR an equivalent level 3 vocational qualification (must be a STEM related subject that aligns to the scheme/area you are applying for and worth a minimum of 96 UCAS points)
