Job summary

Expleo in the United Kingdom seeks Defensive Aids Systems radar engineers to support the integration of radar sensing within survivability architectures for next‑generation combat aircraft. You will help define requirements and contribute to architecture, verification and test across the engineering lifecycle.

You will collaborate with radar, mission systems and electronic warfare teams, participate in design reviews and customer engagements, and contribute to modelling, simulation and safety

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Systems Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or a related STEM discipline.
• Applications welcomed from individuals with significant demonstrable experience who don’t hold formal qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Support development of DAS and survivability system requirements.
• Contribute to systems architecture and interface definition activities.
• Support integration of radar sensing capabilities within wider survivability solutions.
• Produce engineering artefacts and technical documentation.
• Support technical trade studies and performance assessments.
• Participate in integration, test and verification activities.
• Contribute to modelling, simulation and synthetic environment activities.
• Support design reviews and customer technical engagements.
• Work collaboratively with radar, mission systems and electronic warfare teams.
• Support continuous improvement and engineering excellence initiatives.
