A highly regarded and innovative law firm is seeking an experienced Defendant Personal Injury Solicitor to support a busy and well-established insurance litigation practice.

This is a rare opportunity to handle high-quality defendant personal injury work within a supportive and flexible environment. The successful candidate will act for a leading public liability insurer and its corporate policyholders, managing a varied caseload of litigated claims with autonomy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Defend a range of public and occupiers’ liability personal injury claims, primarily fast-track cases involving adults and children.
  • Manage all aspects of litigation, from initial instruction through to resolution.
  • Handle infant approvals, costs, and court proceedings efficiently and effectively.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, ensuring files are progressed to a high standard.
  • Liaise with clients, insurers, and other stakeholders, maintaining excellent communication throughout each case.
About You
  • Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 8years’ PQE in defendant personal injury litigation.
  • Strong track record acting on behalf of insurers and their policyholders.
  • Excellent knowledge of relevant procedural rules and case management.
  • Skilled communicator with strong drafting, negotiation, and client relationship skills.
  • Confident working independently and remotely, with excellent IT literacy.
  • No requirement to generate your own work — a steady caseload will be provided.
