Qualifications

  • Experience in a management role within the soft FM services industry.
  • Proven leadership and people management skills.
  • Knowledge of HR processes including recruitment and performance management.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong numerical and organisational skills.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyse problems and develop solutions.
  • Experience working in a military environment.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • IOSH Managing Safely qualification.
  • Food Safety qualification equivalent to CIEH Level 3.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Defence services according to contract requirements.
  • Plan and manage service delivery across all business areas.
  • Ensure achievement of service standards and KPIs.
  • Contribute to service growth while maintaining budget control.
  • Build strong client and customer relationships.
  • Manage and develop a team of direct reports.
  • Act as Duty Manager and provide on-call cover.
  • Collaborate with department managers for smooth service.
  • Monitor Health & Safety and Food Safety standards.
  • Promote employee engagement and a positive work environment.
  • Support marketing initiatives and promotional activities.
  • Maintain care of company equipment.
  • Undertake training and professional development.
  • Carry out reasonable duties as directed by management.
