Job summary

A leading engineering recruitment consultancy is seeking a Design Engineer to play a pivotal role in delivering critical projects in Coventry. In this role, you will focus on 3D CAD design using Creo, manage Bills of Materials, and collaborate with project teams. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in the defence or automotive industries and must be a UK national eligible for security clearance. The position offers an hourly rate of GBP40-45 and may allow for hybrid working arrangements.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Design Engineer in Defence, Automotive, or Aerospace industries.
• Able to pass a DBS and SC Clearance Check.
• Knowledge of fabrication, machining, and composite manufacturing methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead detailed 3D CAD design work to produce high-quality models and assemblies.
• Manage Bills of Materials in PLM systems ensuring accuracy.
• Support integration projects from concept to manufacture.
