Job summary

PwC, in its Cyber, Data and Technology Resilience practice, seeks a Senior Manager to lead solution design and bid strategy for Defence cyber opportunities. You will shape how PwC wins and delivers work across large programmes, translating deep technical expertise into commercially sound proposals.

You will collaborate with sector leaders to grow Defence offerings, shaping delivery models and ensuring alignment with client needs, governance, and accreditation requirements.

Qualifications

• Significant cyber security experience, including Defence sector exposure.
• Hands-on knowledge of security architecture, assurance or cyber operations.
• Proven bid leadership or contribution in complex, regulated environments.
• Understanding of Defence security governance, assurance and accreditation processes.
• Ability to design pragmatic delivery models for large multi-party programmes.
• Strong ability to present and write clear technical content for senior stakeholders.
• Current Developed Vetting (DV) clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of cyber solutions and bid strategy from shaping through to submission.
• Design delivery models, including team structures, tools and approaches tailored to each engagement.
• Develop and review high-quality proposal content, ensuring technical credibility and alignment to client needs.
• Define PwC’s role within complex programmes, including collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
• Support client engagement activity where technical expertise is required to progress opportunities.
• Develop reusable cyber propositions and contribute to the growth of Defence offerings.
