Job summary

Boeing Defence United Kingdom Bristol-based Commercial Team is seeking a Commercial Intern to start in July 2027. The role is based in Bristol and reports to the Head of Commercial. You will shadow team members, undertake supervised activities and progressively support the commercial function across contracts.

Successful candidates will gain exposure to proposals, contract changes and stakeholder meetings, building valuable experience within the UK defence sector at Boeing.

Qualifications

• Studying or graduated a degree in Business, Law or Finance or similar.
• No minimum degree grade or GPA required.
• Confident presenting and hosting meetings.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration with stakeholders.
• Self-motivated with forward-thinking mindset.
• Effective communication and attention to quality outputs.
• Inclusive and enthusiastic attitude.

Responsibilities

• Support proposal development and negotiation for contract changes.
• Manage administration of the change process.
• Shadow meetings with the external customer.
• Attend meetings with internal programme stakeholders to address deliverables.
• Excellent record-keeping and commercial administration of all aspects of contracts.
• Learn contracting approaches from evaluation to innovative commercial solutions.
• Build relationships and develop business judgment to protect value for money.
• Review contract terms and apply to programme activities.
• Identify risks, opportunities, improvements with stakeholders.
