Job summary

UK Innovation & Science Seed Fund [UKI2S] is looking for an Analyst/Associate to drive early-stage investments in deep-tech sectors. You will engage with founders, support due diligence, and contribute to building the investment platform.

The ideal candidate has a degree in engineering or sciences, and strong analytical skills, with a focus on technology sectors like climate and advanced engineering. The role offers hybrid working and significant early responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of work experience in a start-up, consulting or large corporate.
• Experience or strong interest in software, AI, or deep-tech systems.
• Ability to assess technical feasibility and scalability of products.
• Interest in sectors such as defence, space, climate or advanced engineering.

Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate new investment opportunities.
• Lead elements of diligence and transaction execution.
• Support portfolio companies’ post-investment activities.
• Contribute to UKI2S Fund origination strategy and network development.
