A leading nuclear site management company in Ipswich is seeking a Governance & Secretariat Coordinator to support development consent obligations. The role involves coordinating meetings, managing financial tracking, and supporting stakeholder engagement. Candidates should possess strong administrative skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a significant infrastructure project within a collaborative environment.
We’re looking for a highly organised and proactive Governance & Secretariat Coordinator to support the day-to-day delivery of Sizewell C's Development Consent Order (DCO) governance obligations—specifically those outlined in the Deed of Obligation (DoO) with Suffolk County Council and East Suffolk Council. You’ll act as the formal secretariat for key governance groups, ensuring meetings are scheduled, agendas prepared, and accurate records maintained. You’ll also track financial obligations, manage reporting data, and support wider planning and stakeholder engagement activities across the project. This role contributes to transparency, accountability, and compliance with planning commitments, contributing directly to the success of the Sizewell C project.
Sizewell C Limited (Sizewell C) is a nuclear site licensed company whose business is to design, finance, construct, commission, operate, maintain, and eventually decommission the nuclear power plant and related infrastructure at Sizewell C in Suffolk. Sizewell C was formerly under the majority ownership of the EDF Group but is currently majority owned by HM Government and operates as an independent company. EDF remains a key shareholder in Sizewell C and the business therefore maintains close links to EDF as a part of its 'nuclear family'. As a Sizewell C employee, you may wonder why you are contacted by colleagues with an EDF email or see the EDF logo on portals that you access and/or documentation you receive; this is because we have partnered with EDF for the provision of a number of support services whilst we complete a successful transition out of the EDF group.
