Overview

The Healthy Homes team plays a vital role in ensuring residents live in safe, warm, and well-maintained homes. The team leads on all matters related to damp, mould, and disrepair, operating with a zero-tolerance approach to sub-standard housing conditions.

We are looking for a proactive, motivated, and professional Decorator to join us for six months. This role is customer-focused and requires someone who is friendly, reliable, and committed to delivering a high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out mould treatments to a high standard.

  • Conduct ventilation surveys in customers' homes.

  • Complete make‑good decoration works following remedial treatment.

  • Communicate clearly and regularly with customers, ensuring they feel informed and supported throughout the process.

  • Complete scheduled tasks within allocated timeframes while maintaining cost-effective delivery.

  • Pre‑order materials as required and manage stock efficiently.

  • Maintain excellent standards of workmanship and follow best practice in building maintenance.

  • Represent the organisation as a positive, professional ambassador with a "right first time" approach.

  • Participate in an Out of Hours Callout rota (clean UK driving licence required).
