Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Decontamination Technician at the Grange University Hospital.

We are therefore looking to recruit dynamic and motivated people who are able to work within a team and are eager to learn new skills and build on existing transferable skills.

The Junior Decontamination Technician is integral to delivering both elective and emergency procedures, working 14:00-22:00 Tuesday to Saturday for 37.5 hours per week.

  • Prepare, produce, sterilise and deliver ward and departmental procedure packs.
  • Manage comprehensive Theatre and Day Theatre instrument sets.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Relevant experience in decontamination or similar roles.
  • Ability to speak Welsh is desirable; Welsh and English speakers are equally welcome.
  • Teamworking and eagerness to learn new skills.
