Job summary

Portman Dental Care, The Dental Surgery Corn Exchange in London, seeks a Trainee Decontamination Assistant. You will be trained to support decontamination procedures, maintaining safety standards and working within the practice schedule.

You will join a supportive team, gain practical experience, and contribute to patient care behind the scenes while training completes. Salary includes a competitive hourly rate and annual earnings, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• A methodical and process-driven approach to work, with great attention to detail.
• Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.
• Willing to learn sterilisation procedures and follow all relevant health and safety protocols.
• Previous experience in a clinical or healthcare setting is helpful but not essential – full training will be provided.

• Competitive hourly rate of: £12.71
• Typical shifts: within the Practice opening hours, which areMonday to Thursday 07:30 to 19:15, Friday 07:30 to 17:15, Saturday 08:45 to 14:15
• Flexibility to work Saturday mornings once a month and occasional Wednesday evenings
• Convenient location, with great public transport links
