GMP Worldwide in Manchester is seeking an experienced Debt Advisory Director to join our growing Corporate Finance team. You will originate, lead and execute debt financing transactions for entrepreneurial businesses, private equity, and management teams.

We value a strong lender network, clear capital-structure advice and the ability to mentor junior staff while supporting business development and growth in a dynamic advisory practice.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in debt advisory, leveraged finance, corporate banking or corporate finance.
  • Strong commercial acumen with an established professional network.
  • Demonstrable experience leading complex financing transactions.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • ACA, ACCA, CFA or equivalent qualification advantageous, but not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Lead debt advisory mandates from origination through to completion.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with banks, alternative lenders and funding providers.
  • Advise clients on capital structures and debt funding strategies.

Manchester (Hybrid - 3 days office / 2 days home)

An established and highly regarded Corporate Finance advisory firm is seeking an experienced Debt Advisory Director to join its growing Manchester team.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a leading role in advising entrepreneurial businesses, private equity investors and management teams on a broad range of debt financing transactions. Working alongside an experienced Corporate Finance team, you will originate, lead and execute funding solutions across acquisitions, refinancings, growth capital and recapitalisations.

The Role
  • Lead debt advisory mandates from origination through to completion.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with banks, alternative lenders and funding providers.
  • Advise clients on capital structures and debt funding strategies.
  • Support business development initiatives and contribute to the continued growth of the practice.
  • Mentor and develop junior members of the team.
About You
  • Proven experience within Debt Advisory, Leveraged Finance, Corporate Banking or Corporate Finance.
