Stellantis &You UK is seeking a Dealership Accountant for their Liverpool dealership. This role involves delivering financial management services, including budgeting, forecasting, and compliance. Ideal candidates will have experience in financial management, preferably within the automotive industry, and a strong command of Motor Trade-specific DMS Platforms. Role Overview

This is a great opportunity for you to become a key member of our Dealership Management Team. An exciting new opportunity has come up here at Liverpool as we’re on the lookout for a Dealership Accountant to join our dynamic team.

It is the perfect opportunity for a talented individual to advance their career in a premium manufacturer owned environment. As a dealership accountant, you will be responsible for delivering financial management service to the dealerships including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, financial controls and compliance with all Group policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Extend financial management support to staff at all levels, ensuring Company income and expenditure is processed accurately and within set deadlines.
• Provide support and guidance for all financial and accounts‑related matters to the Regional Operations Directors and to the dealership management teams within the Region.
• Professionally challenge General Managers on their accounts and results and work with them on implementing innovative solutions and new ways of working.
• Ensure the necessary controls are in place to ensure the commercial actions of the rest of the management team within the dealership are in line with Company policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate sales and purchase ledgers, manage balance sheet integrity, and ensure the dealership is fully prepared for month‑end reporting.
• Collaborate with different departments, support teams to achieve their objectives, and contribute directly to the overall success of the dealership.

The role of a Dealership Accountant is far more dynamic than it may first appear. It is a varied and engaging position that involves working closely with colleagues across the dealership, supporting strong business performance while ensuring compliance with company policies and financial controls. Strong organisational skills and a naturally inquisitive mindset are essential, as the role requires attention to detail and the ability to respond to a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

We’re searching for an experienced financial professional with a background in the automotive industry. While dealership experience is preferred, it’s not a requirement. What matters most is your detailed understanding and application of Motor Trade‑specific DMS Platforms and Microsoft Office Tools. If you’re familiar with financial management within an automotive context or have related experience, we want to hear from you.
