Job summary

G-20 Group is expanding its team with a De-Fi Developer & Engineer role, focusing on blockchain-driven innovation within financial markets. You will work alongside a close-knit team of quantitative traders and engineers to push the envelope in trading, DeFi protocols, and smart contracts.

The role requires postgraduate or degree-level programming expertise, strong communication in English, and hands-on experience with multiple blockchain ecosystems.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate or graduate degree in CS/CE or equivalent.
• Strong programming in at least two listed languages.
• Experience with EVM or other blockchain architectures.
• Web3 tech and crypto markets familiarity.
• Experience deploying large tech stacks and delivering projects.
• Excellent English communication.

Responsibilities

• Co-develop trading algorithms and platform architecture with execution/connectivity solutions.
• Research DeFi protocols using on-chain data to support marketmaking strategies.
• Research and implement novel blockchain functionalities and protocols.
• Research smart contract libraries and frameworks.
• Maintain awareness of DeFi protocol updates and market developments.

Role Overview

We’reexpandingourteam with aDe-Fi Developer & Engineer–someone whohas a true passion for innovation using blockchain technology within the spectrum offinancial markets,pushing theboundaries in a close-knittechnology,mathandtrading-focusedteam. The individual willwork with colleagues withexpertisein systematic and automatic quantitative trading and marketmaking.

Responsibilities

• Co-develop our trading algorithms and platform architecture, implementinginnovative trade execution and connectivity solutions.

• Conduct thorough research and analysis of DeFi protocols using on-chain data to build the continuously evolving technology to support marketmaking and trading strategies

• Research and implement novel blockchain functionalities and protocols

• Research smart contract libraries and frameworks

• Maintaindeep awareness of DeFi protocol updates and market developments

• Proven experience in deployment on various blockchain platforms

• Postgraduateor Graduatedegreedemonstratinga solid background in programming (ComputerScience, ComputerEngineering,or equivalent)
• Comfortable or native in web3 technology and cryptocurrency markets
• Proven experience of an advanced understanding of EVM or another other blockchain ecosystem architectures and corresponding implementations
• Proficientprogramming skills in at least 2 of the following languages: C + +, Python, Typescript, Rust (Solidity is an asset)
• Proficiencyin certain blockchain-related programming languages (Golang,Rust,Solidity,Move,Yul)
• Experiencein smart contract audits and a desire to innovate at thelowestlevels of blockchain technology
• Demonstratedability of large technological stack deployments and deliver finished projects
• Fluent English communication skills

Preferred / Desirable Experience

• Hands-on experience with blockchain analytics, DeFi protocols across different chains
• Deep technical knowledge of specific blockchain platforms
• Having worked in a fast paced quantitative or trading experience is a plus
• Familiarity in Typescript and other languages used in Web3 is a plus
