We are seeking a talented individual support our delegated DC investment solution, Mercer Workplace Savings. This role can be based out of our London or other Nationwide offices. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working a minimum of 3 days a week in the office.

The role: DC Product - Senior Investment Analyst

As a Senior Investment Analyst for our DC Product team, In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders and third-party providers to meet key investment regulatory, operational, and governance requirements. As an industry leader, Mercer is committed to continually adapt to the evolving market landscape to enhance retirement outcomes for all members using our DC investment solutions and this role offers the potential for the successful candidate to make a significant impact.

You will collaborate with fund managers and platform providers, manage investment materials, and represent the product in client meetings. You will take ownership of quarterly deliverables and handle ad hoc queries.

The ideal candidate will have DC pensions experience, strong knowledge of investment products and regulations, and be working toward or have attained industry-standard qualifications such as IMC, FIA/FFA, or CFA. Excellent organizational and stakeholder management skills are essential.

We will rely on you to:
  • Day-to-day collaboration with in-house and external fund managers and third-party platform providers to implement and maintain our investment proposition and support its evolution
  • Managing the timely delivery of investment materials to key internal and external stakeholders including quarterly Governance Committee meeting packs
  • Attending client meetings as DC Product representative to cover a range of topics, including performance, positioning and future proposition developments
  • Taking ownership of quarterly recurring deliverables and ad hoc queries that arise from clients, colleagues and other industry participants
What you need to have:
  • Attained or working toward industry-standard investment qualifications (e.g., IMC, FIA/FFA, CFA).
  • DC pensions delivery experience essential along with good knowledge of relevant investment products, distribution, and the DC pensions regulatory environment.
  • Excellent organizational and stakeholder-management skills.
