Job summary

QS Recruitment Ltd. is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 driver for a daytime driving role delivering finished products to customers across the local and surrounding areas.

The position involves 1–5 drops per day, loading/unloading where required, and daily vehicle checks. Work is Monday to Friday with a 06:00 start, temporary contract with possible temp-to-perm for the right candidate, and £18.00 per hour. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
• Minimum 1 year’s Class 2 driving experience.
• Valid Driver CPC.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Comfortable carrying out manual handling and handball duties.
• Reliable and professional approach.
• Good timekeeping and safe driving standards.

Responsibilities

• Safely transporting manufactured products to customers and completing deliveries.
• Carrying out approximately 1–5 drops per day.
• Loading and unloading goods where required.
• Carrying out handball and manual handling as needed.
• Completing daily vehicle checks.
• Ensuring goods are handled safely and delivered on time.
