Job summary

Workchain is seeking a reliable Car/Van Driver for daytime home-delivery and multidrop work in and around Normanton, West Yorkshire. This temporary role offers a daytime shift with an emphasis on safe, professional service and efficient delivery routes.

The driver will complete home deliveries by car or van, manage routes with 10+ stops, and ensure proper documentation and safety compliance while maintaining excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience in home delivery and multidrop driving.
• Comfortable completing routes with over 10 deliveries.
• A suitable, valid driving licence for the vehicle.
• Good time-management and organisational skills.
• Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious.
• Professional manner and clear communication skills.
• Able to work independently during daytime shifts.

Responsibilities

• Carry out home deliveries using a car or van.
• Complete multidrop delivery routes, including more than 10 stops.
• Plan and follow delivery schedules effectively.
• Handle goods carefully and professionally.
• Maintain a courteous approach when dealing with customers.
• Complete required delivery checks and paperwork.
• Follow road safety and workplace procedures at all times.
