Job summary

Ashton Recruitment is seeking a busy, hands-on Dayshift Picker & Packer for a temporary role at Nutts Corner. You will work in a busy stockroom environment, picking orders, packing goods for dispatch, and ensuring accurate stock locations with handheld scanners.

The role operates on a 4 days on, 4 days off pattern from 6am to 6.30pm, offering a healthy work-life balance. Pay ranges from £12.71–£12.96 per hour (Over 21) and £10.85 for Under 21, with eligible candidates enjoying shop-floor

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a retail, stockroom, or warehouse environment.
• Own transport is essential due to location.
• Desirable: experience with handheld scanners.

Responsibilities

• Locating, picking, and packing goods accurately.
• Sorting stock and preparing orders for dispatch.
• Stock checks, location management, and general warehouse duties.
• Using handheld scanners to move stock to the correct locations.
• Adhering to all health & safety procedures at all times.
