Questech are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Days - Mechanical Maintenance Engineer.

This client is a fast paced Production facility, experiencing substantial growth.

The Person
  • Worked as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer / Maintenance Technician / Multi skilled Engineer
  • NVQ Level 3 trained in either Mechanical Engineering
  • Trustworthy, Motivated, Problem Solver
  • Experienced in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficient written, numerical, and verbal skills
  • Good computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft office family of products
The Role
  • Factory & machine maintenance / repair / installation experience in a versatile manufacturing environment.
  • Maintaining other areas of the factory – planned maintenance and undertaking other functions to facilitate the smooth running of the factory.
  • Ensure that all machinery and the factory building are safe and efficient places to work and visit.
  • Monitor, maintain or repair machinery to allow maximum production output and efficiency.
  • Improve or replace machinery and processes to increase reliability, production output and minimise disruption to the business.
  • Respond quickly to production machine issues as they arise.
  • Ensure factory / machines / site remain safe to use or be around.

This role is working Monday to Friday - 07:30am - 16:00pm.

The basic salary will be £40,000pa
