Job description

The cook is responsible for menu planning, the shopping list for groceries and supplies, stock rotation and ensuring all dates, temperatures of stock received is recorded in HACCP folder and meeting standards and stored correctly. Daily preparation of nutritious meals served to the children ages 6 months to 11 years. Risk assessment is conducted daily, fridge/freezer temperatures are recorded AM and PM. The kitchen is to be managed and the work of the cook is to be conducted in strict compliance for Environmental Health Department and all other applicable legislation.
